UPDATE ON PLANNING APPLICATIONS
We are pleased to announce the planning applications have been submitted to the London Borough of Wandsworth’s Planning Authority. We want to thank you all for your views and feedback on our design proposals, which have helped to shape the final proposals for submission.
STATUTORY CONSULTATION
The project team submitted the planning applications in February 2024 and the applications can be found on Wandsworth Council’s Planning Explorer:

Please search Application Number 2024/0389 for Toland Square (Eastwood South).
Please use this as an opportunity to formally submit your comments on the planning applications.

COMMITTED TO DELIVERING MORE AFFORDABLE HOUSING
As you will already know, Wandsworth Council approved its commitment to make all homes within the Council’s ‘1,000 Homes Programme’ available for council rent. Wandsworth Council is committed to delivering more affordable housing and maximising its stock of affordable homes to ensure quality homes are available to those who need it the most.
As part of the ‘1,000 Homes Programme’, the Council have identified Aubyn Square and Toland Square Estates as suitable sites for a small number of new homes.
UPDATE ON CONSULTATION
Consultation has now ended but an overview of the three rounds of consultation is below.
Our first round of consultation ran from Monday 14 November 2022 to Friday 16 December 2022. This consultation focused on early design concepts, with the team introducing Wandsworth Council’s initial aspirations for the site and asking residents for their thoughts on the estate today, plus any views on the proposed location for new development.
Our second round of consultation ran from Tuesday 21 March 2023 to Friday 7 April 2023. During this second round of consultation, the team presented more detailed design proposals which had evolved following the consideration of all ideas and issues raised by the local community.
Our third and final round of consultation ran from Tuesday 3 October 2023 to Friday 20 October 2023. This consultation was held to seek views on the updated design proposals, as some significant changes were made following community feedback and through discussions with planning officers.
